Siblings Australia is a unique national organisation committed to improving the support available for siblings of children and adults with chronic conditions including disability, chronic illness and mental health issues.
Unfortunately this vulnerable group is still largely overlooked at the policy/government level and so much of our work involves advocating for more awareness and support.
This website will allow you to access information about sibling support - services, resources, research and policy - whether you are a sibling, parent, worker or researcher. With very limited resources, we are unable to give individual advice; nor do we have other information about sibling support services apart from the information that is on our directory of services. We hope you subscribe to our email updates or 'like' our Facebook page to keep up to date with what is happening.
We welcome any feedback and if you would like specific information about our workshops or resources please contact us.

The 2012-2013 Annual Report is now available. If you would like any back copies of the Annual Report please contact us.

View a YouTube preview of our latest resource, the DVD, Stronger Siblings, designed to assist parents in supporting their children who are siblings. The DVD includes a pdf with discussion questions, ideal for an organisation to use with a group of parents.
