How to include Siblings Australia in your will
Including a gift in your will is a simple yet powerful way to support our mission. Here are a few ways to get started:
- Residual gift: Leave a percentage of your estate after other bequests have been fulfilled.
- Specific gift: Designate a specific amount of money or an asset, such as property or shares.
- Contingent gift: Make a gift that takes effect only if your primary beneficiaries do not survive you.
We recommend that you speak with a Solicitor to ensure that your wishes are properly expressed and executed. We have included some suggested wording for inclusion in your will below:
I give to Siblings Australia Inc. (“Siblings Australia”), Level 4, 50 Pirie Street, ADELAIDE SA 5000, ABN 70 677 697 698 for its general purposes OR for the specific purpose of [insert here]
- the sum of $[XXXXX] OR
- the residue of my estate OR
- a [XX]% share of the residue of my estate OR
- all of my property known as [PROPERTY PORTFOLIO NUMBER] situated at [ADDRESS OF PROPERTY] OR
- if any of my nominated beneficiaries predecease me, the bequest shall not fail but I give the share of my deceased beneficiary to Siblings Australia and I declare that the receipt of the President or authorised officer of Siblings Australia shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executors for my bequest.
