KidSib — A Case for Support

KidSib

Australia's digital early intervention platform for young siblings.

The need

Why now

Siblings form their biggest feelings before they have words for them. They carry a higher risk of stress, anxiety and depression through childhood.

Research shows the risk and the remedy: early support changes the outcome. No accessible, evidence-based program exists for this age group anywhere in the world.

KidSib will be the first.

Theory of change

Children aged 5–12 with a sibling with disability or chronic illness are forming their biggest feelings before they have words for them.
KidSib creates a fun, interactive place and tools to understand those feelings early.
So that children with disability or chronic illness grow up beside siblings who get them from the start. And siblings feel less alone in the world.

A free digital portal of games, videos and resources, co-designed with families, early childhood experts and children with lived experience.
