Through this engaging and informative platform, learn about a range of topics relevant to you as an adult sibling. This may include making sense of your sibling experiences, understanding what role you may play for your sibling with disability or understanding available to your brother and sister such as circles of support or the NDIS?

You will work your way through information, case scenarios and videos, learning about issues that may impact siblings, what are the warning signs and ways parents and families can help siblings.

Siblings: Brothers and Sisters of Children with Disability

by Kate Strohm (revised edition) 2014 Wakefield Press Australia. This book is based on the author’s own experience as a sibling and on extensive interviews she conducted with brothers and sisters of a child with a disability of all ages. It provides insight, practical advice and support.
